Derby College Placement of the Year Award
We were surprised to have been nominated to receive an award at the annual Derby College Awards Event held at the Roundhouse in Derby on 1st March 2019.
Kathryn & Lia represented us on the night and we are pleased to let everyone know that we won the award for ‘Placement of the Year’.
We have been working closely with Derby College over the last few years to support students, studying Animal Care at various levels, with work experience opportunities at the kennels.
This recognition is for all the staff at the kennels. Without their support to the students whilst they are on placement with us we wouldn’t have received this award.
Anyone who has a job where they are also supporting someone to develop will understand how challenging but rewarding this can be.
Thankyou also to Lauren Jeffery and the college team for their support to us too.
I am certain we will continue to work together to help students in their work placements.
